IPM-700: "Installation Europe" Magazine's Product of the Month

The fully enclosed mounting frame for the iPad™ (IPM-700) joins our long list of award-winning products when it was voted product of the month by "Installation Europe" magazine.

The IPM-700 wall-mounting frame completely covers all iPad™ controls yet allows full access to the touchscreen, turning it into a compact interactive display for digital signage. Its sleek frame comes in a stainless steel, chrome, black or white finish.

The IPM-700 is our latest product to win major industry recognition, joining the ranks of our all-weather indoor/outdoor enclosure (GB-ENCL32) and modular video wall mounting system (MVW46 ). Both won awards from Systems Contractor News magazine (SCN) at InfoComm last year.

New White

We are introducing a new and brighter shade of white for our white-finished products, replacing the current chamois, creamy white paint. The new white has a matte texture to minimize the appearance of dust and prevent fingerprints or smudge marks.

We worked closely with our customers to develop the new finish for our white products, resulting in a clean, sleek look that matches ceiling tiles, electrical coverings and other industry-standard white products.

Snapshot: Beverly Hills EOC

The Beverly Hills Emergency Operations Center (EOC), a command center for various city agencies in the event of an emergency or disaster, needed mounts to securely hold a number of flat-panels in place on its video walls. The video walls were designed to display crucial emergency information and feeds from a large number of surveillance cameras around the city. Our PCM-MS2 flat-panel mounts were chosen as the best mounting product for the project because of its quality, the ease of installation and the range of different flat-panel mounts it matches. Our excellent customer service and product support were other important factors that prompted systems integrator, Spinitar, to pick our mounts.

The PCM-MS2’s slim, open-access design for cable routing and power access was perfect for installing the flat-panel video wall in the EOC, which required multiple hardware components and outlets for its video walls to be mounted behind the displays.

“The biggest concern was making the installation as efficient as possible and that meant finding a single model mount that would work with all of the different display manufacturers and sizes, and was easily repeatable,” adds Matthew Kosel, senior A/V system designer from system integrator Spinitar. “The PCM-MS2 fits the bill all around and Premier Mounts’ history of superior support made it an easy choice.”

Cool Tool: Griplate™


		Our patent-pending Griplate™ universal washers are just one of the many cool tools we provide with some of our flat-panel mounts (such as the CTM-MS2 and the AM300 ) to make installations easy. These unique rectangular-shaped washer plates fit M4-M8 hardware and feature metal bumps that lock into the registration holes on the mounting brackets, ensuring that heavy flat-panels won’t slide down over time. Simply align the mounting brackets with the back of the flat-panel, then use the appropriate screws and/or spacers to tighten a Griplate™ to each of their mounting points.
